Jane Mitchell is the leading character in my books. Originally from a small town in South Dakota, she moved to New York to follow her dreams. Working hard, she has become the managing director of forensic accounting at Quantum Quotient CPAs.

I love New York City, and the books play (predominately) there. As a partner of an accounting firm, Jane meets her clients in fancy restaurants like the one in the Mandarin Oriental, the Jean George, or the Central Park Boathouse.
